As if I don't blog enough....
I've just started blogging and I must admit, I'm addicted. I spend hours and hours reading and searching blogs and have discovered there's a lot of stitching blogs out there and that's right up my alley.
I'm 30 years old and love to cross stitch and love to embroidery. I'm the queen of unfinished projects. I have stitching A.D.D. Mid-project something might catch my eye so I will run (not walk) to the nearest supply store to start the new, more exciting project.
I don't know really how long I have been stitching. Probably around 15 years but that would put me back in high school and I have no recollection of having any such hobby back then. Had I stitched in those days, it would have made those long band trips much more bearable. (Yes I was a band geek). So to be more accurate, I think it is safe to say I started stitching in college (10 years ago).
Here's my sad confession. I stitched probably quite a lot back in those days and the first 2 things I ever finished were about 5 years ago for my mother.
I've never taken a picture of anything I've stitched but the talented ladies I have come across the past few weeks have inspired me. I am awe of all the talent I have seen.
For the past year I've been a member of our local chapter of the Embroiderer's Guild of America. Our chapter is TANA which stands for Tri-Area Needlearts Assosciation. There too, I have met many talented ladies and hope to learn from them.
Anyhow, my goal this weekend (other than stitching) I will take some pictures and post them to share. Hopefully posting pictures and blogging about what I am working on will inspire me to finally follow through with what I start. I know just by reading the other blogs here I have been quite inspired already!

OMG, girl... I just had to look you up. We have so much in common we could be sisters. Addicted to blogging? I have 3 now (2 are not at Blogger), and I see you do too. Our language use is much the same; we were both band geeks, and of course, we're both very, very clever and intelligent ;-)
Glad you discovered me and vice versa.
